Charles Warwick Allpass was Harry Page's best friend at Shrewsbury, fellow rower and lately his business partner in Kiddicraft. Charles Warwick Allpass was awarded the OBE in the 1955 Birthday Honours list for his services to the Territorial Army in which he held the position of Lieutenant Colonel.
Lt Colonel Allpass was commissioned in December 1939 and served throughout most of the war both at home and in the Middle East. In 1945 he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
A lifelong friend of Hilary Page, Charles Warwick Allpass was reputed to be the 'voice of reason' in the relationship. Page the entrepreneur, Allpass the business sense, a co-operation that stood the test of time.
